Papa's Steak

2 lb. flank steak
6 cloves garlic
1 cup red wine
1 cup brewed coffee
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
bit of oil for braising

Mix your garlic, wine, coffee and wine vinegar in a food processor. Marinate your flank steak overnight. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Braise the flank steak in a tiny bit of oil in a HOT pan, about a minute or two per side. Transfer steak to a broiler pan, and cook in oven for about 35 minutes. Slice on the bias and serve!

I have to say, I HATE coffee, but this was really not bad. And it's Papa's Steak because he loves coffee, and really liked this! But if you love coffee and red wine, then how can you lose by adding steak and garlic, one must wonder....
